Key: what’s the forecast for jacksonville florida
As a lifelong florida native, hurricanes are usually not as bad as they seem on the news UNLESS you get the center of them.
If a 100 mph hurricane passes 50 miles from you, the winds will probably be about 50 mph, but if it passes 20 miles from you, the winds could be 75-100 mph.
That's kinda how it works, they arent overhyped but rather the max winds are confined to a small area compared to the size of the storm itself.
Jacksonville doesnt get bad hurricanes.
Great info thanks
So where in Florida does not get hurricane? Planning to go there for vacation this coming July?

Jacksonville was hit a lot more today often from the 1600-late 1800s. NOAA has done a study and another ongoing study on those hurricanes pre-1851. Since Dora, we’ve been lucky thank goodness. Though in terms of impacts we can be affected if a hurricane hits the Atlantic or Gulf of Mexico sides of the peninsula.
I've been doing a ton of research on relocating to North Florida and I find all your videos to be so informative. I will definitely contact you when I am ready to make the big move. Thank you!!
Hey Josh. Great content! Question: what website did the 1:14 chance come from? I’d like to compare that to other Florida cities
Yeah, Daniel Cronin is the man!!
Is it truth that Jacksonville is more like the South?
I'm trying to decide if I want to relocate as a possible 1st time homer owner to Jacksonville or Tampa. I want out of Ohio.
