  • The downtown library is the best library ever! Next i would walk half a block to Chamberlin book mine for a cup of coffee while I browsed the massive new/used book store. Can't forget burrito gallery, the art walk, river walk, riverside arts market. Bold city and Cork art studio tours are a blast, while you're in the neighborhood grab a bite or a drink on king street. Memorial park is beautiful! Can't forget bold bean coffee and the zen cog bicycle shop. Check out the five points area. Try any of the dozens of local restaurants. In the neighborhood. Lots of beautiful parks. There's a group bicycle ride called midnight mass that is a blast. If you're there during Christmas time check zen cog for a massive bike tour of riverside and Avondale (its beautiful!). So so so much more to do in that lovely city. Miss the hell out of it. Got 7 years til i can possibly move back.

  • You didn't mention it is the most conservative city in the nation, Make America Great Again

  • Don't forget kona skatepark. Its been around since the 70s. They rent pads, helmets, and boards. Snake run is a must!

  • Check out some local favorites as far as food goes. Avoid McDonald’s and get Breakfast at Maple Street Buiscuit Company ion Point Meadows Way. Get lunch at Metro Diner, and get dinner at a local seafood restaurant on the Intercoastal Waterway. Also, Dillion Springs and Silver Glynn Springs aren’t far away, as well as Jenny Springs over near McClenny. And St. Augustine is only about a 20 minute drive south. Go see the oldest schoolhouse on St. George Street, or go to the Alagator Farm, which has the largest gator currently in captivity, and you can see and get pictures with the former largest gated in captivity as after it died, they had it presented in taxiderm form. Also, go check out the Mandarin Museum which has civil war artifacts from the sunken Union Suply ship USS Maple Leaf. Also, Harriett Beecher Stowe’s house is on the grounds… the one she wrote Uncle Tom’s Cabin in.
