Shopping at the Ethnic Minority Market in Sapa, Vietnam

This hustling and bustling market was filled mostly with Hmong, Tay, and Dao, hill-tribe minority people of the mountains in northern Vietnam. Most of them sold colorful blankets, jackets, hats, and little toys, however some of them had upgraded their stock with items such as iPod and mobile phone pouches. They can be aggressive salespeople at times, but most of them also enjoy friendly old conversation. Their level of English is amazing considering the vast majority of them spent no time studying it in school, if they attended school to begin with.
